WELCOME!                

               Hello! My name is Ms. Ashley Williams, and I will be teaching 8th grade ELA and 8th Grade ELA Honors this year. This will be my second year at HRMS, but I've been teaching for nine years prior to working as a primary teacher at Lake City College Preparatory Academy Charter School and as an English Adjunct at Williamsburg Technical College.

                 I have a bachelor's degree in English from USC (Go Cocks!), a master's degree in Secondary Education, and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading with an Emphasis in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University.

                 I am from a small suburban area called Lake City, SC. My hobbies are reading, watching movies, spending time with my two wonderful children, and writing novels. I am the author of two published books, Pure Innuendos and The Patched Sea.

                This year will be an exciting journey. I can't wait to get to know and challenge all my students to their full potential. By working together, We, the Hurricanes, will elevate the perfect storm (Success Through Teaching & Learning, Outcomes, Resilience, and Motivation).
