Bio/About Me

My name is David Wright. I want to welcome you to Hardeeville Junior High School. I reside in Pooler, Savannah Georgia with my wife and son David Junior. I received my diploma in teaching at The Mico University in Kingston, Jamaica, where I majored in Mathematics and science. I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education at The University of The West Indies in Kingston Jamaica. I received my Master of Arts Degree in Mathematics at Aurora University in Illinois. I started my teaching career in Jamaica and continue in the Bahamas then the US. I have the experience of teaching mathematics at many different levels such as the CXC level, GCE Advance Level mathematics and AP Calculus. 

 

I have a passion for teaching and learning. My focus as a teacher is to prepare my students for their future studies. I believe that it is important to set students up for success early in their education so that they can have a solid foundation when pursuing secondary education. I look forward to having a great academic year with my students and parents.
