Welcome

Hello. My name is Angelo Messina and I am currently the 8th grade Spanish 1 and Reading & Writing teacher at HJSHS. It is my first year in the district, hoping it will be the first of many more to come.

 

I have been a teacher for 11 years. I specialized in English Pedagogy in my home country of Chile at Universidad de las Américas. I have taught English as a second language in Chile from 2013 to 2018. I have then moved to the United States and began my adventure teaching Spanish in Savannah, GA from 2018 to 2023.

 

I am excited to be part of the Jasper County family and looking forward to a great year.
