On Thursday, October 18, HRMS administrators, staff and faculty participated in "Stop the Bleed" training to learn ways to minimize blood loss in a bleeding emergency. Training was conducted by HRMS School Nurse Bailey Moore and Joey Rowell, Assistant Chief of the Hardeeville Fire Department. "Stop the Bleed" is a national awareness campaign and call to action that encourages bystanders to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Following the training, "Stop the Bleed" trauma kits were placed in numerous, critical locations throughout the school.
