HRMS students assembled in the school gym on the morning of Friday, January 31 to receive First Semester Academic Awards and recognize student government leaders. On Friday afternoon, teachers and students celebrated the 100th day of school by competing in relay races and fitness competitions. Students judged classroom doors that had been decorated with themes related to the 100th day of school. Below are the results of the races and competitions, as well as the winners of the door decorating contest.
Jump Rope (100 jumps)-First Place: 8th grade; Second Place: 6th grade; Third Place: 7th grade
Sit Ups(100 sit ups)-First Place: 7th grade; Second Place: 8th grade; Third Place: 6th grade
Jumping Jacks (100 jumps)-First Place: 6th grade; Second Place: 7th grade; Third Place: 8th grade
Push Ups (100 push ups)-First Place: 8th grade; Second Place: 7th grade; Third Place: 8th grade
