JCSD Faculty and staff experienced the culture and cuisine of their international colleagues during a multicultural presentation on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in the Hardeeville campus Media Center. International teachers working in the school district shared information about the history and culture of the Philippines, Colombia, and Jamaica. Following the presentations which included singing, dancing, and the distribution of gifts from their home countries, international teachers and their families served traditional, home-cooked delicacies including “Ackee and Saltfish,” the Jamaican National Dish.
