Marsha Neal received a TIP Award at the 2017 Ed Tech conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. For Ms. Neal’s project entitled, “Let’s All Be Authors,” students used technology in science to research an assigned storm. The students were to put themselves in the position of a mayor and develop implementation plans for the county. The students used their creative side to write a story of any genre, based on their storm. They typed the story and drew a picture for each page. The stories were then put together and a publishing company created a hard-cover book from their stories titled, “When Will It End?”
